Firstly Welcome to Lotty's Long Walks Pet Services.
I established my business in 2013 in Dorset where I previously resided.
I now run a branch in Hampshire where I now reside with my family; a now slightly old Staffy x Boxer Lexi (pictured above), My 2 children and my husband. We also have 2 Herman Tortoises.
My love of dogs really shone through after leaving the Armed Forces. I have a massive passion around dogs and have been interested in the way dogs learn, interact with each other and canine psychology for quite a few years now.
I have owned a variety of animals throughout my childhood and adult life so far;
I volunteered for a year at Margaret Greens Animal Rescue , my local dog rescue in Dorset. I loved it so much I was offered a position working there part time! Here I was able to rehabilitate rescue dogs, teach basic training and help re-home lost or abandoned animals. I also fostered for a short time too. A very rewarding job! Difficult not to re-home them all!
I have studied with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT), something I've wanted to do for a while. Here I underwent various practical assessments and tests to gain recognition and membership as a student Dog Training Instructor with the IMDT.
I am:
My passion for dogs really shows through in my work, I love to help solve a behaviour problem, guide nervous dogs through their troubles and I am a sucker for puppies. I treat all animals as if they were my own and cuddles are always absolutely FREE!!
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't be afraid to contact me
