How do I book with Lotty's Long Walks Pet Services?
Firstly an initial contact with Lotty the Manageress will establish a booking. On this initial contact, a FREE consultation will be arranged so you can meet one or both of our staff. Please state which area you are enquiring from on your initial enquiry.

What happens on a initial Consultation?
A 30-40 Minute meeting in your own home, this enables our staff to see your pets in the comfort of their own home. New Client forms and contracts are filled out- this is for the purpose of insurance and also handy for our staff to refer back to when caring for your pets. Normally clients prefer to leave a key with the member of staff to save another trip back to collect. Your keys are kept in a secure key press until we care for your pet(s) then it is kept on a key-ring and named with pets name only for security reasons.
How long can you care for my pet?
At Lotty's Long Walks Pet Services we accommodate your pets for however long you need, be it a trip away to visit family and friends or work commitments.
What is your cancellation policy?
We know that sometimes plans don't always go to plan, so we try and treat all customers in a fair and professional manner.
Payment/ Cancellations - Dog Walking: Invoices will be issued on the last Friday of each month and payment is due by the date stated on the invoice. Accepted methods of payment are cash or bank transfer. If your payment is not received by the date specified, a late payment fee of £5 will be applied to your account or next invoice. If your invoice isn't paid within 2 weeks of invoice due date, Lotty can refuse to provide you a service until the account is cleared. Cancellations for scheduled dog walks may be made up to 5:00 p.m. on the day prior to scheduled service. If you cancel before 5:00 p.m the day prior no fee will apply. If you call or email after 5:00 p.m./ on the day of the booking or if you do not notify Lotty’s Long Walks and your dog walker arrives at your home for your scheduled service, you will be charged in full for the visit(s) for that day.
Payment / Cancellations- Pet Sitting: Fees are earned upon acceptance of Pet Sitting reservations. A deposit of £30.00 non refundable deposit is due when a request for services is confirmed by Lotty’s Long Walks and the total bill exceeds £50.00. The remaining balance is due prior to the first visit of that scheduled service. Accepted methods of payment are cash and bank transfers only. Cancellations may be made up to 48 hours in advance of your scheduled service, any monies will be credited back which exceed the £30.00 non refundable deposit. If cancelling less than 48 hours prior to the first visit of your scheduled service period, 50% of fee is applied as a cancellation charge. Any remaining balance of fees paid will be credited to your account. If you are home during a scheduled visit and neglect or forget to cancel and your sitter arrives at your home, the full price of the service will be charged for that day and a 50% charge will apply for the remainder of your booking. Any visits cancelled on the day of service will be charged in full. If you cancel any part of your scheduled reservation, such as ending the reservation early, you are responsible for the entire initial reservation fee. No refunds or credits will be issued
What do you do in an emergency?
Emergency contact details and veterinary details are obtained on the initial consultation. These will be used in the case of any emergency or illness of any pet. Lotty is Canine First Aid Trained. Certificates can be viewed on request.
Do you offer your services at the weekend or bank holidays?
Yes we do, although a charge is applied to Christmas Eve, Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day and Bank Holidays. A FREE quote is always given on request.
What areas do you cover?
We have two branches: Surrey we cover - Brookwood- Pirbright - Knaphill - Bisley and in Hampshire we cover - Bridgemary, Rowner, Lee- On - Solent, Browndown and Brockenhurst
How do we pay?
Invoices are sent via email monthly ( around 25th of the month)- all payments are to be paid on the first day of the next month via bank transfer. No Cheques are accepted. We use a app called My Pet Walker which is FREE to download and all the invoicing is sent through this.
What animals do we care for?
At Lotty's Long Walks Pet Services we love all your pets. We have experience with sitting dogs predominantly, we often sit cats, Rabbits, guinea pigs, fish and on the odd occasion reptiles & chicken.
How can I be assured my pet is happy while I am away?
FREE picture updates will be sent to you if requested- we know how nerve racking it can be to leave your furry babies behind. Receiving a picture while your away from them, seeing how much fun they are having with us gives you peace of mind. We also regularly update our Facebook Page.
What services can we provide?
Dog Walking including socialisation for puppies and adult dogs- Pet Sitting in your own home- which includes daycare cover We also offer 1-2-1 Dog Training at our Hampshire branch.
What does your insurance cover?
Lotty's Long Walks Pet Services is insured through Cliverton (specialist insurance for pet professionals. ) We are insured for the following aspects;
Pet Taxi European Cover
Loss Of Keys- call out charges for intruder alarms, replacement locks, loss of keys
Care, Custody & Control
Employeers Liability including family helpers and volunteers
Pet & Animal Minding
No More than 6 pets exercised off lead at one time
Written consent to be obtained before any dog is exercised off lead.
Insurance is renewed annually and the Certificates can be viewed upon request.
