August 2016-  2 Day Course with Dog Training with IMDT
​( Institute Of Modern Dog Trainers) Part 1

August 2016; Started my dream to become a dog training instructor. First course completed with Steve Mann... only 2 courses away from becoming fully accredited dog trainer.

The IMDT was founded to promote the very best in understanding and training of dogs through quality Trainers and ultimately, owners. Founded in 1999 by Steve Mann, with a great deal of invaluable help from leading Dog Trainers throughout Europe, America and the UK. The aim of The IMDT is to provide high quality training, education and membership to all Dog Trainers, with an emphasis on proven, ethical and science based teaching methods.

Through a comprehensive range of Courses and assessment, The IMDT offers a recognised and accredited qualification as well as a supportive, positive network of Members with a purpose of developing and offering the very best dog training and behavioural advice. 

The IMDT is a Registered Learning Centre for The Open College Network & offers education and qualification that is externally verified, quality assured and recognised within the industry.

September 4 Day Course with Dog Training with IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers) Part 2

A week long practical course, Lexi and I were put through a lot of learning and practical handling. A real hands on experience with lots of teaching and lesson plans. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and gained lots of confidence teaching.  Can't wait to bring Dog Training Classes to Lotty's Long Walks Pet Services.

1st August 2014-Lotty's Long Walks Online Dog Show -  Raised £50

Charlotte entered Dogs into fun dog show for their chance to win 1st-4th prizes. Money raised was donated to Help For Heroes and Margaret Greens Animal Rescue.

Lotty's Long Walks went along to the dog show on 3rd August and guess what Lexi, Charlotte's Dog won 2nd prize for Prettiest Bitch.

July 2014- Lotty Recruits New Staff

In July 2014, Lotty's Long Walks Pet Services gained a member of staff and the home-boarding service was launched!

2014- Margaret Greens Animal Rescue Fundraiser Raises £830

After organising a Auction online Charlotte raised a massive £830 for Margaret Greens Animal Rescue in beginning of 2014!

1st May 2014- Lotty Features in Dorset Echo Newspaper

May 2014- Lotty Goes live on BFBS (Forces) Radio

April 2014- Lotty qualifies as a Canine First Aider

 Charlotte completed a Dog First Aid Course in Bournemouth on 19th April 2014 with Dog First Aid for Professionals.
All staff of Lotty's Long Walks Pet Services are qualified dog first aiders.

Certificates can be viewed upon request. 

November 2014- Lotty Qualifies as a Mobile Pet Microchip Implanter

Charlotte took part in the Pet Microchip Implant Course in Exeter on 30th November 2013. Qualifying her to microchip dogs and cats from 8 weeks old.
